The start of slavery was the birth of discrimination
being put on plantations, with transportation slaves ships, where black people received back whips, which left scars, which was by far the worst thing in history, why it remains a mystery, looking back.. on who gave these people the right to call us crap,so quick to kick us when were down, while not considering that the same color blood flows through us all like rivers in the Nile, not to be in denial but how can someone be treated so file, with no evidence, and after years of waiting for something that was heaven sent, decades later who knew we would have a black president. after decades of oppression, being giving the impression that we the people had no rights, which is why our ancestors would march those nights. for what if Martin Luther King didn't march and preach or say his famous "I had a dream" speech or if Rosa Parks would have gotten up to stand, then someone tells me where we would stand ....
This book holds poems woven from dreams, a tapestry of fantasy and obsession, daring to explore the depths of my emotions beyond mere definition.

For me every soul has a simple story, one that unfolds directly.
But when it comes to poems, they transcend the ordinary. They are profound, open to interpretation, deciphered through the unique lens of your own perception.
