Hey everyone, This is my first time publishing a fic so I hope it's at least meh level of good. Lance had been feeling down for a while now...but not just down, he felt distant from his team. Coran was the only one who seemed to care but he couldn't keep bothering him. I suck at descriptions. Oh well here goes. Lance is 'always the reason' why the team fails training and barely complete missions. So when Allura tries memory-melding to get the paladin to bond, it reveals a small part of Lance's painful past. From there, Lance's daily life aboard The Castle of Lions goes spiraling out of control, and he's forced to deal with the consequences, whether it was his fault or not. IDK please give it a go?

Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story.
