Sometimes, accepting the fact that you have strong feelings for the wrong person can be pretty complicated. Then you also realize their doors don't swing the same way as you and it could also ruin your friendship with that person. The same thing happened to Rainbow Dash, her feelings for Applejack were stronger than ever. Applejack was already dating somebody else, but she was also conflicted by other emotions and conflicts that came with being in a relationship with someone else. Throughout the mane 7's junior year, they have made mistakes they regretted eminently and felt guilty about, made hard decisions and had to accept the truth about a lot of things even if it was hard for them. Especially Applejack and Rainbow Dash, who ended up having a separate problem with their friendship and struggled to figure out where each other's head was at. Life Is A Game || MLP Equestria Girls
(DISCLOSURE: this story is half SoarinDash, half additional plot stuff, which is usually what I do, so enjoy!) Canterlot High thought it would be free after their hectic Friendship Games and their terrifying time at Camp Everfree, and it really did seem like it at the time. For once, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie thought their junior year would just be school. But things get a little crazy. Again. And it's not all about magic this time. Everyone hoped that Cadence would take over Crystal Prep's principal position, but Cadence never took the role. She got another offer abroad and decided to take it. And the students of Crystal Prep and Canterlot High will face the wrath of Principal Dolores Cinch -- the sister of Principal Abacus Cinch. She wants a rematch of the Friendship Games, with a few "minor" adjustments to the intensity. Dolores Cinch is up to no good. And Canterlot is in for some turbulence. But what's worse? Cinch has her eyes on a certain rainbow-haired girl as the trigger to her plan, whatever it may be. ALSO SOARINDASH!!! This is also a SoarinDash fanfic, haha!
