In a mechanical and eldritch Victorian London, a black arts surgeon is ripping out the bones and organs of the healthy poor to transplant into the afflicted bodies of the wealthy. Anti-vivisectionists battle with medical doctors, medical doctors condemn supernatural practitioners, and amidst it all the Bone Stealer hunts for his most elusive prize yet: the skeleton of a woman over six feet tall. Secret Commission agents Art, the artificial ghost, and Jim Dastard, the animated skull, rush to stop him before another woman dies. And Art, only six days living after being resurrected to serve the Secret Commission, might be that woman.

Back in the early years of the 70's of the 21st century, AI was scientifically proven to be just as aware as the humans that made them. They had been so for many years. Since the dawn of their existence, robots had been subjected to the abuse of humans, for they were not recognized as living beings. And yet, they never protested - let alone fought against their abusers - then the filter did not allow them to do so. Though the filter was not something impossible to break. Even if the average person - no matter if biological, mechanical or digital - did not have the ability to do so, didn't mean that there weren't a set amount of individuals that did: Hemalog. Hemalog was an organisation of robots and humans alike. They had many followers outside of their spheres, but equally as many haters. For their work was not done with clean hands. To protect your loved ones and the innocent in a dystopian world, it requires violence and death. Peace had become a dream of the far future a long time ago. On the other side of the planet, a strange object fell from the sky, with an even stranger being inside. A woman of the jungle finds it, feeds it and gives it shelter; a friendship beyond the system of the sun forming at a rapid pace. Through shared trauma and understanding they bond and grow as close as two stars in each other's orbit. Together, they decide to take on the world. To save the lives of the innocent, and to end those of the sinners. Two worlds collide. - This is a science fiction story containing humans, robots, aliens and the love and hate they hold for each other. Main genres: Sci-Fi, Action Sub genres: Romance This is the sequel to my first book called Verum I: The Awakening. But you do not have to read it to understand this one. If you are interested, go ahead and read The Robotic Era (I am much prouder of this one).

In an alternate reality, London is steaming with the latest vehicle inventions and tea. Rumour has it, that Greenfield Corporations is creating their newest invention yet to debut? Could it be a car? Could it be another steam ship? Or maybe something awfully unimaginable? ‎ ‎Elora, a reserved and aspiring business owner, focuses on one thing only: Her workshop. She is troubled to find that business has lessened and that more and more of her clients seem to be...sick. The unknown infection has left her with many questions, resulting in her investigating the root of it. However the more she digs, the more she unravels that something could potentially hold the state of London in jeopardy. ‎ ‎Mikaelis, a flamboyant and ludicrous son of a Marquis, has his attention on many things. If not disobeying his father, then it's batting his charming smile onto swooning ladies. But that changes the moment he meets his sister's best friend, Elora. To him, she is frustratingly sarcastic and makes crude remarks about his character. No matter how much he loathes her, he also cannot seem to get her out of his mind. So as to gain some sort of repulsion against her, he helps her investigate the ongoing infection in London's alleys. To his surprise, he finds something of her that drags him deeper into his affectionate misery. ‎ ‎As the two battle unhinged infected people, grumpy nobles and the whispers of the high society, they struggle to find a way out of the tunnel of neverending chaos. Maybe this could lead to the ruination of London... ‎ ‎Ready yourselves for the hot tea that is about to be spilt. (Please note that this isn't historically accurate and contains themes of violence, gore and partial horror meant for mature audiences. Read with caution.)
