In 2035, the first colony on Mars was established. Only a year after, it cut off all contact from Earth, and its inhabitants were presumed dead. They were wrong. In 2037, the skies of Earth were smothered by darkness. The Martians returned to the place they once called home...and they were no longer human. The people of Earth were crushed by the bloodthirsty, vampiric Martians and reduced to little more than livestock for their flesh and blood.
Two decades later, in what is now known as Neo Tokyo, Mana Tsugumi lives an oblivious existence among the groveling, impoverished masses, turning a blind eye to the cruelty surrounding her, until a fateful encounter nearly ends her up in the clutches of the hungry vampires.
