15 year-olds, Haven & her bestfriend Lauren, live in a small town on the coast of California. Lauren, has some troubles with her family, but manages to juggle them with the help of her friend. One night, the 2 teens go out for ice-cream to their local diner 'Mommas' & un-expectedly see someone that catches their eyes, not knowing he's a long lost family friend.
