In The Bird and the Blade, Damian Wayne is the son of the dark night is introduced as Robin not only to Gotham's dark night but also to the Teen Titans. The youngest son now in his late teens continues to team up with his father and brother Dick in Gotham. Now in his late teens, the boy has controlled his vengeful bloodlust but continues to be cold and sarcastic when spoken with. Mostly his life revolves around crime as his public image is less than his eldest brothers who help rule over the company in their separate cities. Damian continually proves himself as more than his predecessors in skill and wit. Though despite the fact he could take care of himself, he still goes on missions with his father and brothers.

It is during one of these missions where he meets a familiar face. A genetically engineered lab rat from the assassins. The girl while once Damian's closest competitor is now a late teen herself and trying to survive. The teen is skilled in not only combat but just like Damian, was raised in the shadows and used to violence. Though when they found her she was in more trouble than Damian could have predicted. She's a face he remembers from his time training with his grandfathers assassins. Despite escaping the island and managing to live amongst the crime swept Gotham Damian feels almost protective over her which confuses him as much as it does his family. Life is soon turned upside down for the pair as they are swept into missions where it turns out they share more than just a history together.
The pair race to defeat different villains, join up with allies and find family in the most unlikely of places. For better or worse the two argumentative and violent assassins are stuck with each other.

Damian Wayne never felt he belonged with the Teen Titans. The constant taunts for his methods wore him down. Somehow, they had forgotten that he was just a 12-year-old kid. While a few, like Nightwing, Starfire, and Raven, understood him, everyone else kind of hated him. One day, he went too far and injured a criminal more than he should have. The taunts escalated, labeling him a murderer. Feeling utterly unwanted, Damian had enough. He left the team and disappeared, ensuring that even Batman wouldn't find him. He started traveling through the Himalayas and Nepal, seeking peace. Eventually, he found solace in India, adopting a new identity and developing an interest in playing the guitar. Seven years passed. In this time, Damian mastered 40 types of martial arts and focused heavily on archery. Under his new identity, he taught guitar to children, finding joy in guiding them and spending time with them, as they were the only ones who didn't see him as a murderer. Despite this, Damian often reflected on his upbringing and the reason for his existence. His mother, Talia al Ghul, had wanted a replacement for Ra's al Ghul, not a child, and his father, Batman, hadn't even known he existed until they met. Accepting that he was unwanted and didn't belong anywhere, Damian sometimes broke down, questioning why he couldn't have a normal life. Yet, amidst the solace he found with children, his life took another turn. One day, he received a call from Batman. To discover the reason behind Batman's call and what it means for Damian, read the full story.
Return of the Demon (Damian Wayne x Reader) Book III by Hot_Pocket_
16 parts Complete
Book III of The Bride of the Demon series COMPLETED It has been two years since Y/n Queen and Damian Wayne parted ways. As her time away from the Demon's kin grew, Y/n has entered society as Oliver Queen's newly adopted daughter. Now, being six months into her new role as a Teen Titan, the Cardinal mantle is born. Not wanting to be there, Y/n has done all she can to pass the time. Her teammates make it more difficult when they keep getting on her nerves. She doesn't seem to have any common interests with Jaime, Kori is the babysitter she never wanted, Garfield makes her want to pull out her hair, and Raven is more mysterious than she can care for. So, not making friends here will help, right? When Nightwing drops the Demon Spawn onto the Titans' doorstep, Y/n's emotional state begins to fall apart. Feelings are resurfacing and for an unknown reason, seeing the mysterious empath and the newest Robin together makes Y/n's time here even more unbearable. And to top it off, Raven's past begins to catch up with her, causing the Titans' lives to run amuck. Will Y/n and Damian ever repair their relationship? And will the return of the Demon uproot Y/n's new life for the final time? I do not own DC Comics, you own you, but I DO own the Cardinal mantle as well as my version of the Sparrow. Follows the Justice League vs. the Teen Titans plotline. I would advise watching the movie before reading because not everything in the movie will be written in the book.

DC Series Book One "No don't..." But her arms go up and the mesmerizing portals appear. Through the portal closest to them, the boys can see grass and park benches where concrete and pavement should be. She jumps through and as she does, the portal in front of them collapses. Off in the distance, where the park is, Tim can see her running away, dark hair flying in the wind. "Real smooth Drake." Damian says, striding towards me. "Should've asked for her number while you were at it." --- "Phantom? That's the name you're going with?" "It's a hell of a lot cooler than Robin." She snaps back at him. "Robin was not a name that I..." Tim grabs Damian by his cape as he marches toward her. "Be nice to the guests Damian." Alfred says in a tired voice, interrupting Damian's rant. "Bite me." He snarls at Ria. --- Dabria Tran has lived in Gotham City her whole life. First as a nurtured, well looked after baby, then as an orphaned, forgotten child and now as a desperate, impulsive teenager. At the ripe age of eighteen, Ria is on the streets, fending for herself and dealing with powers she can barely control. It is while on patrol that Tim Drake and Damian Wayne spot this camouflaged girl of the night and try to stop her as she breaks into a local convenience store, not to steal the cash but the food. After obsessively tracking her for a week, Tim finally catches up with her, finding her holed up in an abandoned building with another younger girl she is trying to care for. Bruce Wayne doesn't hesitate to take them in, but Ria's mistrust of them leads to tension in the house. Her powers are dangerous, volatile and no matter how hard Tim tries, he can't get her to open up to him. As Ria's shadowed past slowly catches up with her, the Bat Family finally realizes that they have no idea what kind of forces they're dealing with.
