"The air reeks of decaying corpses and fresh blood. The sounds of terror and gunshots fly through the atmosphere, but still I trudge through the battlefield, my weapon at my side, his fingers intertwined with mine, and my eyes locked on the enemy before us". It's 2048, and it seems our world is coming to an end. Otherworldly beings walk among us, more powerful then any weapon mankind has to offer. That is, until now. Scientists have created a serious of Serums, six to be exact, that have just the right chemicals to combine with the human body. The catch? Thousands of people ages ranging from fourteen to forty are taken from their homes, forced into fighting an alien race they aren't sure they can beat. Solar Grady is among the thousands forced to give up their own lives in exchange for the human race to survive. Having lost everything near and dear to her already, what harm will a little needle do?

During humanity's final stand against the encroaching darkness, a force unlike anything on Earth arrived. They were faster, stronger, and armed with technology fused into their very bodies. No one knows the moment the tide turned-only that the invaders struck first, erasing nations and their greatest defenders in a single sweep. Their purpose remains a mystery, but their name chills every survivor: the Scryvians. For humanity to endure, evolution itself must awaken. Yet only six teenagers carry the rare bloodlines capable of unlocking that change. The weight of the world rests on their untested shoulders. But even with power beyond imagining, can they stop the Scryvians... or will humanity's last hope become its final tragedy?
