Creative Writing 2 Journals
A collection of 'journals' from my Creative Writing 2 class. Journals are like warm-ups that we do daily at the beginning of class. Each journal has a prompt that my wonderful teacher creates or finds online. The first 4 have a paragraph at the beginning in parenthesis that says "Paraphrased Prompt" because I don't remember exactly, word for word, what the prompt was. There shall be about 80 journals at least by the end of the semester. After journal number 43, it restarts at 1 because a new grading period began.. Each journal is MY writing; therefore, I own it. Letters For You
This is going to be weird. At first at least. I haven't talked to you in over a year, but the teacher said we should use this diary to express our emotions and the only one I could ever be one hundred percent honest with is you. Those letters to you are worth 25% of my final grade so I must find some interesting things to talk to you about. It's going to be good for me too. It'll help me move on. Help me live my life again. I just hope that it will get easier because for now, just imagining talking to you every week brings it all back, all those feelings. I still hope that, one day, you will read those letters for real. Hello!! My name is Gwen, and I want to share all my crazy life stories, from love to adventure and even a little bit of horror. I have never told anyone any of these, so I think it might be fun to share them with you guys and get to know if you have experienced anything like I have. I really hope you like them and enjoy them. These stories are 100% true (even though it may seem hard to believe at times), so the names have obviously been changed. If your name appears in one of my stories, it's purely coincidental. I hope you like it and can have fun sharing stories. (BTW, this also serves as a diary to help internalize and process many things in my life. It's a safe place where I can express my opinions and thoughts, which I sometimes don't say out loud for different reasons. Also, beware. Life's Unexpected Turn

"More" he demanded. "What's with the sudden interest?" Before he reacts I hastily added some joke to lighten the mood. "Knock, knock." He opens and then closed his mouth masking his surprise. "Who's there?" "Icy" I drawled. "ICY WHO?" He replied. "You see me, do you need glasses or something?" then his booming laughter echoed inside the library which again a loud shushed from the librarian and some nearby students hit us. How someone could have such an impact on you without having a single conversation with you. Her precious words tortured his existence, they drowned him in misery, created a black hole of words around him, gave him everything he needed to live. Made him fall in love. Gave him a world of his own. Made him believe in rainbows, unicorns, coffee, the basis of happiness, the meaning of every sunrise, the mystery of every deep ocean, she made him human. He knew he had to find her. He had to find out who she was. He had given him all the clues he needed but none of them were enough to prepare him for who she was. But sometimes... The journey is more important than the destination. Sometimes, the journey is the destination. A book full of stolen pages and a boy full of curiosity.
