During the last several years the world had started to see fewer monsters and fewer killings, Castiel had decided he didn't really want to go back upstairs preferring to be close to Dean. But while Cas and Dean are out at the movies a group of men show up at the door to their house looking for Sam and serve him with drafting papers.
A soldier in the war Sam finds himself losing his grip on himself as he is forced to kill humans to stay alive in the marines.
But then an old familiar friend comes along and gives Sam the encouragement he needs to keep going every day and he reveals that he has lost something very important to him and Sam finds himself trying to make Gabriel see that he is still just as amazing no matter what is missing..
