What to and not to do around your crush. Male and Female.
One of my friends requested this because she had a crush on someone and didn't know how to tell them. I feel like most people are in this situation, as well. So, I made this book to help. Hopefully, it does.

Also, these are all the things I did to get a date, so, this may not work for everyone.

After what felt like 2 hours, we broke apart. "I'm sorry," he said blushing a little "but it just kinda clicked." he explained, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's okay." I said, also starting to blush a little. For 2 minutes the awkward just settled between us, and I swear it was tangible. He broke the silence first, finally meeting my eyes and not staring at his high-tops. "So...", he started and chuckled nervously "Could I get your number?" I stared at him for a second wondering if it would even be a good idea, when he said "I know we don't know each other, but I felt fireworks just now, and even if we don't go on a date, I'd love to see you again." Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Settling Slowly
2015 rolled in with a bang, and it did not have the grace to gift me with a social life that everyone in a one hundred year radius would be jealous of or that is even just the talk of the town. Instead I got myself into a complicated relationship which wasn't much talked about, a relationship that I didn't get into is talked about all the time and university is around the figurative corner. That is where you can factor in people I suppose I should call 'fans', the fascination that comes in with cutlery, pots, pans and other formerly boring things. But let us not forget that my parents are finally getting married and Mum can't shop for lace without me wanting to kill her, add in a dose of sleepless nights, invigorating kisses - which have nothing to do with the sleepless nights and a lot to do with nightmares - Harriet not knowing the meaning of the words "you're done" and Ice Ice Baby is still a thing. We're all growing up (except Dad who will still make inappropriate jokes at every inappropriate moment, some to do with what cannot be done when you're wearing a plaster cast) and holidays are being planned though some are less holiday and more a mad dash to find somewhere to live out in the big wide world without our parents. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.Complete

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote.
