People think she is crazy. They say she has a syndrome; the Stockholm syndrome to be exact.
Taylor thinks they’re wrong. It is not a syndrome - it is a natural thing. Everyone will experience it once in their life. To her, it just happened to be a little different. Twisted, some would call it.
The only thing she did was fall in love.
Taylor and her best friend happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. A gang, who was in desperate need for their help, kidnapped them and brought them far away from their homes in Canada.
After being held hostage for months, Taylor starts to see that her captor isn’t that bad… and maybe just a tad attractive.
Stockholm syndrome: an emotional attachment to a captor formed by a hostage as a result of continuous stress, dependence, and a need to cooperate for survival.
