A true story of losing my best friend in the first grade during the Fall of 1973. It is my hope that it will be viewed as a historical document speaking to a more primitive time when children were neglected in a subtle way... for there were no clinical interventions at that time. Children were not yet recognized as suffering from trauma...life changing trauma....and unfortunately this sickness continues to exist because it is sad reality of human nature that inevitably reaches all classes and all races....
My friend Dianna, recently said it reminded her of Pink Floyd's song "The Wall,"...we don't need no education."
It speaks a truth for my generation and for many that came before me and those who are yet to become ...It is a true story ...and my souls wish to leave some scribble behind that will help lessen the suffering of this world and to know that Patricia and I were here.
