What happens when a simple exorcist training mission goes wrong? Yukio and his team of exwires, except for Rin, are cocooned in a spiderweb like substance. Nothing can seem to penetrate the substance, not even Rin's flames. three hundred and fifty years later, exorcist find a way to break the casing and free them. But when Yukio, Shura and the exwires wake up the world the knew is gone, and why will none of the exorcist tell them what happened to Rin? What happens when the Rin they knew is also gone? And who is this new enemy that threatens both human and demon?

So I know that some people reading this haven't watched the anime or read the manga (mainly some friends of mine) and so here's what basically happens without any spoilers: There are two realms in the world: Assiah and Gehenna. Rin and Yukio are biologically the twin sons of Satan, and born to a human mother who died after giving birth. Only one of the two twins was able to inherit the blue flames of Satan, which was Rin. The two kids were raised by an exorcist named Father Fujimoto, and when they were young kids Rin would always protect Yukio from bullies and such. Rin got into a lot of brawls and fights even after Yukio stopped needing his help. And during a fight, a demon disguised as a human at first tries to convince Rin to go to Gehenna. He escaped back to his home where they were getting ambushed by many demons. A sword, called the Kurikara (which I don't really include in the story) had confined all of Rin's demonic powers and Father Fujimoto convinces Rin to take it. But after Rin had said to Fujimoto (don't ever call yourself my father again!" or something like that, Satan possesses Fujimoto's body. Fujimoto ends up fighting Satan within his own body and kills himself to prevent Rin from getting hurt. Rin is so devastated he makes it his goal to kill Satan and gets sent to a school for exorcists called True Cross Academy.

I yelled louder as they clashed again and the men tying to take down the shield flew over fifty feet away. Arthur now understood and called for everyone including the men who were supposed to take the shield down. "Yukio! I thought you said there wasn't anyone in your class who could summon a high level demon, or even a demon king!" Arthur yelled at me as Raven and Amaimon clashed again. "She just entered the class today, I had no idea." I said as cursing myself on not testing her first. I looked back to the fight as Raven managed to stab Amaimon in the shoulder and throw him across the circle. The blue bolts of lightning smashed around her in a thirty foot radius, leaving black scorch marks. Even from where we are I could feel the pressure from the fight. I glanced over to Arthur to see him watching the fight too. "Who is she?"
