Kingdom of Ash and Flame

Seventeen year old Freya Marzian is a High Guard for the kingdom of Igneous. Her kingdom is in a state of devastation after the war against magic, with a king on the throne who has gone mad after the war, using the people's taxes for his own luxuries. When an unexpected royal from across the black sea visits Igneous, Freya is tasked with being her personal guard. Freya soon discovers that she is one of the gifted who rose from the ashes of her fore fathers. The royal has one mission, to take the mad king to war and restore peace, brining back magic.
