My name is Tris Prior, I got shot and I died. But I survived.
It has been two years since Tobias, Chris and the others returned to Chicago. They have restored the faction system, but added a faction named Factionless. There the ones that don't fit anywhere, or Divergents go if they don't know what to choose. They saw Tris's body and now Tobias is heartbroken, cold. He hasn't seen his mother since they returned to Chicago, and doesn't want to either.
I woke up, I woke up after two years years. And now, now I'm gonna come back.

Chasm

To maintain stability, the faction leaders decide to return to the faction system. Because of this, the sixteen-year-olds that chose that year are sent back to their former factions for nine months. Tris falls into a state of depression after the war and her impromptu breakup that occurred at the end of it, and returning back to Abnegation--to the same house as her traitor brother--doesn't help. Tobias remains in Dauntless, but while he isn't exactly despondent, he does feel out of place. He doesn't fit in and cannot go on with normal life after everything that happened. Then, Choosing Day arrives. And history definitely does not repeat itself when Tris goes through the initiation process with her old friends and enemies, her ex-boyfriend, and the new sixteen-year-olds, while citizens of Chicago are mysteriously dying. She kills David before he can kill her and releases the serum. Soon after, she moves into the city with Tobias and some of the other refugees. They find out that they will be expecting but the plan for a family is cut short when they are kidnapped, brought to The Milwaukee Experiment, and are wiped of their memories. Tris' memory is spared due to her divergence but no one knows. She will have to escape the city with the ones she loves in order to create a lasting future for her and her child. With some bumps in the way... {DISCLAIMER} This is a fanfic and it is based off of the book and movie series The Divergent Series which is written by Veronica Roth. This fanfic starts after the last book of the series Allegiant. I created a few characters but most of the characters in this fan fiction I do not own.
