Janan, a timid genie, has spent her whole life on the run. All she wants is to live a safe, quiet life but finds herself at the center of a djinn uprising led by Ahriman, the malicious, domineering djinn who created her and wants nothing more than revenge on her for escaping his reach.
As his creation, Janan is the one thing that stands between Ahriman and the tide of death and dark magic his revolt against the djinn government will unleash for djinn and humans alike.
