This is an original story of mine, and my first attempt at writing. Based in a steampunk universe, the story revolves around a man known as an Aviator (one of the rare individuals in the world that has the ability of flight), an inventor, the daughter of a Duke and her personal handmaiden.

A group of rebel aviators hide from the King's army in the chaotic industrial district of Bremming, Aranea. After nearly being discovered after an underground race goes wrong, a haughty young aviator and his eccentric brother find themselves chasing a snitch, and end up tracking her to the home of the Duke of Bremming himself.

Things suddenly take a turn for the worst, and the young inventor finds himself captured by the Duke. In retaliation, our Aviator takes it upon himself to capture the Duke's daughter as leverage.
