Rowan lives in a small village, called Mikaim, at the edge of the forest of east Wesmidia, a small but prosperous country in the medieval world.

10 years ago, the eastern state, Pirlam, has decided to break ties with the country and declared itself independent. The activists, who called themselves Aminalics (amina is Latin for soul), spread their propaganda so well that the current king, Raymond, who was already physically weak, couldn't do much. After 5 years of fighting, a period called the Pirlamic war, the state Pirlam was officially independent. There is still a lot of agitation around the east of the country, where that state lay.

Now 5 years after the war, the king's life is coming to an end, without any children. His deceased brother's son Laurence, whom he raised, is going to take over his position. However, the Aminalics said that when the king Raymond would give up his position, they would take over the whole country, since Raymond was popular among the rest of the country.

In the meantime, Rowan is taking care of Mikaim, which is close to the restless east. She has to take care of her people that are being troubled by the robbers, her fighting and survival skills at the top of that part of the country. She arrived in the village 5 years ago, and nobody knows why she came there. Now she's the main defender and representative of Mikaim.

Then she saves the accountant of the royal family, what happens next, is something she thought never would happen.

Iris Theren has grown up in a small town near the Niam River her entire life. Composed of under 200 people, you'd think residents would know who she was, but her parents have made that impossible, going so far as to not even report her birth when it occurred twenty-three years ago. Cetus and Cassiopeia Theren at one point imagined themselves to be esteemed members of the court, but they overheard whispered questions regarding their loyalties to the crown. Thus, they left Remalna-city years before Iris was born. Their resentment and dislike of the Renselaeus family traveled with them. In their minds, it was the Renselaeuses who caused their fall from "grace" and "good-standing." Only a minor detail that no one truly liked them in the first place. From the moment they left Remalna-city--from the moment Vidanric Renselaeus ascended to the throne with his wife, Meliara Astiar, at his side--they quietly plotted their revenge. Alaraec Renselaeus, firstborn of Mel and Danric and crown prince of Remalna, has now seen twenty-four name days. The exact year the prince is traditionally determined to be old enough to take up some of his royal duties...including finding a potential bride. And thus Cetus and Cassie perceive the moment to strike has finally arrived. NOTE: The setting, history, a couple of the characters, and some of the concepts in this particular story are inspired by Sherwood Smith's novels Crown Duel and Court Duel. One Day More (working title) occurs twenty-five years AFTER the conclusion of Court Duel, basically an alternate future outside of Smith's Remalna's Children novellas.

27 parts Complete Mature
Distant descendant to the throne, Anevay was raised in a rural town where all she did was dream of life in the city, a life she knew she would never have. On the eve of her wedding to a man thirty-five years her senior, the kingdom is thrown into upheaval after a failed coup left her uncle, the king, and her cousins dead. And leaving Anevay herself... the heir apparent. She found herself torn away from the only world she'd ever known, and thrust into a position she was always told she would never hold. Queen. Palace life had none of the thrills of the city she'd dreamed about. But it did have several intriguing-and frustratingly handsome-men there, meant to assist her in her new duties as ruler. Riven, her guard, a headstrong and reckless man whose thirst for blood hid a softer, kinder side. Tolliver, her political mentor, an arrogant curmudgeon bent on making her feel a fool at every turn. Casimir, her personal palace physician, someone meant to know every secret of her body. And Penn, an ambassador from an exotic land she'd never even heard of, a devilishly good-looking and sensual man who always seemed to find a reason to be near. She was meant to be fixing the damage of the attempted coup, bringing her people back to the glory they'd once known, yet the lure of these men around her proves too strong to fight. But enemies abounded, threatening not only the relationships between Anevay and the men she was beginning to love, but the success of her kingdom, and her very life... * HEA. No triggers. Some swords cross (in all the ways that swords can cross), others do not. If you don't want to wait for new chapters, this book is available to purchase on your favorite retailers.
Lords of Fire MC (MC Romance, Thriller) [complete] by GlennHefley
31 parts Complete Mature
MC Romance Neil watched for too long, he figured. His club, the Lords MC in Florida became more 'outlaw' every week, and he saw no opportunity to change that direction. He never wanted to be outlaw, and now he was delivering enough to put him down for 30 years, three times a week. With his dad passing away, and his little sisters needing him around more, it was a wake-up call. Time to ride, with someone else if he found a pack worth joining, or lone wolf if not. With his status and tenure, it never occurred to him that he wouldn't be allowed to move on. When Shayla and Sydney came in as dealers a few years back instead of finishing college, their vow was a few years then out. They had a hell of a run. Parties that were legend, lovers of every sexy man type from Cuban to Norwegian and back again. But it was game time again. The years were great, but not what they wanted for their lives. Then they met Neil, and it was like seeing themselves for the first time, in stark light. He was always courteous and professional, unlike their other delivery men from the MC. He never treated them with anything except respect. In the reflection of his cobalt eyes, though, neither saw themselves worth his respect. It wasn't a shaming, more of a profound regret that a man like Neil finally showed up and they were too far into the life to say "hey, this isn't who we are." The whole "I'm not as I am" Othello play was for victims anyway, and they weren't victims. They were volunteers. But just meeting Neil slammed the door on waiting any longer to get out and back to university. Then two other dealers left the club, and turned up in trash bags, their bodies hacked up by machete.

"Those who's eyes gleam with power Will wither and will fall, And those who only have eyes for another, Will rise above them all." "As you are well aware, we are at war," council leader Sir Ptolemus Brom announced to the twins in a meeting, only minutes after the coronation. "The public is already concerned about a joint rule, and in their minds you two are innocent children being pulled into a mess of politics; and quite frankly, you are. But we don't have time for that. We need to show them a leader." ----- Seventeen year old twin orphans, Alexandria and Kalyssa Leirin are both the queens of Amaria. It's unheard of. It's unruly. It's completely rash. Yet it works. Their mother died in childbirth, and their father was assassinated by highly skilled warriors from the rival nation of Aidana. An attack masterfully orchestrated by the Aidanian King himself. A self centered and narcissistic ruler who had lived a privileged life. As princesses, the twins had been secretly trained behind their father's, and their country's back, to kill. And now, in a time of sacrifice, war, and a touch of romance, they must use all they've learned to guide them, and to save their falling kingdom. The Favorite Princess [Completed]

51 parts Complete

My name is Princess Annebelle Kinston. My mom and dad rule this kingdom. My brother is to be the next ruler and my sister after him. No one likes them except me. Everyone favors me but I'm the youngest. At age 16, my sister was murdered by assassins. I was in the same room as her but they just left me alone. As if they didn't see me. When I turned 17, my brother Alexon was poisoned and is still slowly dieing a year later. I was never expected to actually rule the kingdom , Kingdom of Aldron, let alone be their favorite princess. Heck, I never learned the things to rule if that helps the case. As I find out how to help my kingdom I find a few friends, make a few enemies, and find out the truth to my past that made all this become real. "You're everyone's favorite." He sneers. "But I don't see a reason why! Show me Annebelle. Why are you everyone's favorite princess when you don't even know how to act like one?" I freeze. "Well at least I know what I'm worth unlike you!" I retort. *Needs Major Editing*
