A l'aube de la 1182e Lune, Lunia est encore une terre en paix, malgré les bouleversements de son passé. Mais cet équilibre est menacé par les Ombres, qui déferlent et envahissent la région, brisant le sceau qui depuis des centaines de Lunes, séparait les deux mondes. Les villages se déchirent peu à peu face à la domination de la noirceur, mais un éclat brille doucement dans la pénombre, et n'attend que la bonne personne pour éveiller son pouvoir.
Lexi, jeune archère, menacée comme tous les habitants de son village par la présence de l'Ombre à Lunia, va se retrouver malgré elle porteuse de cette lueur d'espoir. Elle va être forcée à grandir bien plus vite qu'elle ne se l'imaginait.
