Sixteen year old Cassie Williams is underestimated beyond belief. Her whole life has been trashed by her family, which is having a hard time excepting her. Her mother adopted her, which is a complicated and a disgraceful thing to do to the Town Square Community. Her sister and brother she was adopted to, Kylie and Miles, have taken this horrid rumor about the Adoptees and threw it all in her face for the past thirteen years.
When their home is being Raided, a common thing seen in Town Square when the government wanted something, Cassie is left to defend for herself at her house, somehow escaping the clutches of her soon-to-be nemesis. Her sister and brother are captured, though, and the Government thought they should just kill them off, until they have other ideas.
Kylie has too many regrets and things are piling up on her.
Miles is annoyed and letting his temper win, but will he see the dangers it can cause before its too late?
Cassie is helpless and dying, by a plague that never started or ever will.
Who will save them, or a matter of what will save them?

This is a sample of the first five chapters. If you wish to read more please go and check out my book. Fifteen year old Mitchell Turner has been living a semi-normal life in River Falls, Virginia, a safe peaceful town where nothing supernatural could ever exist or happen. At least, it used to. For four months, Mitch has been living under the protective care of his new foster family, who has provided him love, care, and support. There were no evil hunters to ruin his life. No demons to steal his soul. No ghosts, vampires, or witches trying to kill him. No insane doctors attempting to use him as their next guinea pig. No powers to corrupt his fortune. Life was good. Until one fateful day. Mitch's whole world suddenly gets flipped upside down and he has no choice but to go back to a life he has tried so hard to escape from. But what's that old saying? The past comes back to kick you in the behind. Well, he has no choice but to deal not only with the supernatural influences again, but also with an agency he's not sure he can trust, a girl he has a strong connection to, all while dealing with unfortunate visions that may just be his downfall as he attempts to save the life of a girl who desperately needs his help, all while trying to maintain a normal life. Can he find and rescue her before she winds up like her deceased mother? Or will his new crippling abilities cause too much havoc and cause him to lose his sanity?

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister Kit
