Anastasia Hartman had been considered to be one of the best assassins out there. She could kill any of her targets with no remorse, no regret, and no emotion. She was the silent type, going unnoticed and working gracefully without any sound.
She is hired by the ICA-International Contract Agency-to work undercover with one of their best agents, Agent 47, to complete a series of missions that require a skilled man, as well as a skilled woman, to approach.
At first, she had no interest in pretending to be the lover and/or wife for the stretch of time she had to, but Diana soon talks her into agreeing.
Working undercover with 47, Anastasia finds that there is much more to him than his hardened, unsmiling exterior.
The thing is, she never planned that she would fall for the agent.
