When an oridnary joe ends up becoming the most powerful mage in the world over night, it never turns out well. Allison Vale, skeptic and athiest is forced to join the Paranormal Investagation team. Her mentor, Axel Kendall informs her that every human is gifted with abilities, that awaken through shock or trauma. However, being a Mage or Magus means people want you dead. Allison, still grasping the concept of paranormal species and gods, has to fight for her life, and attempt to murder her rival, born of her 'awakening'.
