Henry Barnes wakes to the pounding of a massive headache and a harsh, metallic smell. Resisting the urge to curl into a ball under the covers and fall back asleep, he gets up slowly, pausing every so often as waves of nausea wash over him. Finding it increasingly difficult to breath, he begins to wheeze, scrambling to find his inhaler as a full-on asthma attack threatens to overcome him.
