Long ago, when Remnant was in its infancy, there were creatures that lived before humans were introduced. They,at the time, were called Fauna Sapiens, the ancestors of faunus and humans. They were almost completely animal, most were the size of humans except for the smaller animals such as mice. They were about 4 feet when they stood on two legs, which the Fauna Sapiens could do. They could not speak the human language but they had brains similar to humans. They were both quadruped and bipedal. There were two different lifestyles depending on which status you held in nature. Prey were nomadic people, never staying in one place and constantly on the move. Predators lived in a tribe-like society and would only travel to hunt prey. This continued for many ages, until Remnant spilt apart into the different continents. The Fauna Sapiens located in Vale and Mistral were superb in technology and found no threats to their way of life and over time would evolve into humans. On the other hand the Fennecs of Vacuo were excellent in technology as well but Vacuo's constant harsh temperatures made the Fauna Sapiens of Vacuo needs to keep their fauna traits and would evolve into the faunus. This was the same for Mantle as well as the snowy temperatures called for fauna traits, however much later when the humans arrived the still overwhelming faunus population would be reduced to slaves. '4 Tribes, 4 Times we are used, 4 times we are separated for someone's thoughts on how this should be, and you wonder- was it always like this?' Four different tribes, based off of the four elements, have always been separate. Different rules, different royalty, different religions, different looks, different traditions, and different abilities embedded into each tribe. It's what make each one unique from the other. However, now, innocent kids are being thrown out of their tribe-disowned by their families; outcasted. One by one, each are no longer getting their 'correct' ability, and are removed by force- it feels unavoidable. A group of 8 unique kids, each coming from their own background, have been pushed together after being removed from their tribe. Driven by an urge to find out what is causing this mess- and a hate towards their rulers -the small group pushes on, unsure if they will succeed. Even with all they have been put through, some are still weary of four different tribes being together. Maybe this was meant to be? o° --- If you have read Paws in Talons, you will know that this is remake, using a little inspiration from what we wrote about a year ago from now. However, with many differences, including the abilities, romance, tribes, characters, and more ~For the general audience ~If you're squeamish over blood and death, wouldn't recommend ~This will be posted on Echo and Ripple's accounts We hope you enjoy! <33 -This book is bound to be written all the way throughout the entire thing, so this part is just i don't know. ~~~ NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!
