Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third was 15 years old and bullied by almost everyone. He was weak and insignificant, at least in the eyes of others. Then, one day, he shoots down a dragon. After training that dragon, they leave Berk and Hiccup discovers something amazing about himself.

Hiccup, yearning for communication and not subjugation, ventures to the rumored Dragon Isles. There, he encounters a majestic Alpha dragon, Ignis. Hiccup undergoes three trials to prove his courage, respect, and understanding of dragons. He passes and is accepted by the dragons, learning their language, history, and customs. Hiccup forms close bonds with several dragons, including a young emerald dragon he helps heal. He feels a responsibility to share his knowledge and bridge the gap between humans and dragons. With a heavy heart, Hiccup returns to Berk. He faces skepticism and fear from the villagers, but his stories and Toothless's gentle nature plant seeds of doubt. Hiccup works tirelessly, teaching villagers about dragons and organizing controlled interactions. Years pass, and a new generation of Vikings grows up with a different understanding of dragons. The fear never truly vanishes, but it is tempered with respect. A story about Hiccup and Astrid on Berk. They are now 21. Takes place after httyd 2. This is my first story ever so please don't hate. Sorry if I have some bad grammar or spelling mistakes. Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.Complete
