The Friendship Experiment

Nala's sixteen, but she certainly isn't sweet. After becoming accustomed to unhappiness, it seems impossible to her that there's a different way of living, that she could ever hope to enjoy herself. One night, another clouded by dark thoughts and insomnia, Nala has a revelation and decides that there's nothing left to lose. She decides on a change, decides to be anyone but herself, and starts the friendship experiment. Then she meets Loki. Who is this mysterious boy, and why does she feel likes she's met him before? Most importantly, how does he know her name? Only when she starts to become attached to the new people she meets does she realise that keeping her past in dark isn't as easy as it might seem. Nala's never trusted anyone, but before long the secrets start to slip, just as she makes some discoveries of her own...
