(Historical Fiction / Adventure) Treachery and intrigue, adventure, action and romance are at the fore in this tale set around the legends of Arthur and Merlin.

The court of King Arthur is under threat from Hengist's Saxons who, lured by the promise of gold and land, surge out from the Saxon Shore to wreak havoc in the peaceful lands beyond.

The Knights of the Round Table and their allies sally forth to defend the fragile peace. Will traitors bring down Camelot and the Kingship of Arthur? Can Merlin find the legendary hoard of the Dragon?

Merlin's Gold awaits, for those who are brave or foolish enough to seek it out...

Sir Lancelot, his faithful First Knight. Guinevere, Arthur's promised bride. Garreth, her best friend and cousin, the son of Merlin (Myrddin), the great wizard. It sounds just like the Arthurian Legend, doesn't it? But... What if everything happened differently? What if the young Princess Guinevere was not so keen on marrying Prince Arthur, whom she met... when he came for a week-long sightseeing tour to her father's kingdom accompanied by dashing Sir Lancelot? What if she was... dressed as a knight, pretending to be a bodyguard hired for the visitors? And... What if it was 'a she', who was destined to pull the sword from the stone and thus unite the kingdoms? This is my version, a humorous retelling of the famous legend, a medieval fantasy- coming of age- romantic comedy. *This story is purposely historically innacurate, set in some parallel, fantastical Britain that is different from what it had really been in the past, even though I'm using real locations, historically confirmed battles, and the Saxons as enemies of my legendary King Arthur.
