DISCLAIMER: This is a story I wrote in 2008 and it's the very first story that I wrote and finished when I started writing so I still have the whole story saved for the memories. But I recently discovered Wattpad thanks to a few lovelies (you all know who you are... *ahem* thanksgiving *ahem* ;) ) and I've decided to get back into writing. This story has a lot of meaning to me so I do intend to publish the whole story. I have published this story on the internet already on two different sites so if you do see it, just note that no, I didn't steal this story off someone else, I promise! :) If you are interested in seeing the unedited versions from 6 years ago, I'd be more than happy to send you the link via PM. In all honesty though, I have made a few embellishments. Nothing major, just the vocabulary really but the plot and characters are all completely the same. However, if you haven't read the unedited versions in the first place thenjust enjoy :P How often I update this story will be up to you guys and your feedback. If I get a positive response, then the next chapter will be up much sooner. All feedback is appreciate, even the baddies! :) Enjoy! Love you all E. Reignheart ~<3~

Eliora May, a lifetime citizen of Maplemaw, is something many women are not. Literate. An activist. But these become hard to complete as all is stripped away from her with the coming of unexpected news. Marriage and war between the faeires and elves of Ilkaphene. A land of magic, where flowers and fungi grow as tall as their castles. Where forest creatures live in harmony. A land of peace. A land where a fairy married an elf. A fairy princess marrying an elf princess at that. Eliora begins to hear rumors of the war. How it was destroying an ethereal land. And, worst of all, how women were being silenced to prevent more "corruption". As the war and its standards begin to seep into Elvangmort, changing Eliora's home into one of constrictions, hushed whispers, and worst of all, a hatred toward women, she knows that she must do something to save her freedom and the freedoms of those around her. *** This is my submission for ONC 2025! A love spanning two cultures... I have lived on my family's homestead on the prairie all my nineteen years. It is all I have ever known, and it is Indian territory. My father told us that the Indians are savage, ruthless killers akin to wild animals. "They are not human," he said. But I did not feel that way at all. A hidden warrior... I have kept a a secret from my family since I was a little girl. One they cannot know. I made a friend at the creek one afternoon many years ago. An Indian. He was an Oglala Lakota boy who called himself Wakíŋyaŋ Lúta. Red Thunder. But after that chance encounter, he returned to his people. I had never expected to see him again, but one day, I did: as a virile young man, wounded and on the edge of death. And the feelings of friendship I had shared with him blossomed into something more... ~Full version now available on Amazon!!!! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LVZ39T3/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr= ~Highest Rankings: #1 in "Indigenous," #8 in "Warrior," #1 in "Settlers," #1 in "Colonial," #1 in "Healer" and #1 in "Native." #2 in "Prairie," #42 in Historical Fiction, #6 in "Horses," #460 in Romance, #3 in "Rescue," #1 in "Lakota," #1 in "Sioux."
