A young fairy's desire to break free from the restraints tethering her to her world, pushes her into the arms of a charming, young wolf, whose world benefits from keeping her shackled. ***** Sixteen-year-old Ellette longs to know what the world is like outside of the Woodlands, home to all Fae. As the black sheep of her family, her curious and stubborn nature makes it difficult for her to adhere to the strict ways of her people. One night while running away, Ellette stumbles upon Michael, an injured werewolf. She makes the choice to save his life, and intends to send him on his way once he recovers. But the more Ellette gets to know the intriguing, young wolf, the more reluctant she is to let him go. And letting him go would certainly be in her best interest. Not only is Michael an intruder in the Woodlands, but the very creature all Fae have good reason to fear. As his forbidden presence threatens the safety of all Fae, Ellette finds herself torn between following her heart or doing right by her people.
