Police officer Floyd Earnest calls home 1947. He woke up in modern times, and has to deal with challenges he never expected. Making friends he never wanted, such as hitwomen, hookers, and dirty cops, he also meets regular people, and has to change his whole outlook on life.

As much as he wants to get home, he always wants to stay and explore this new world, even if he doesn't know much about how it works. 

Working the beat, he's going to be exposed to so much more then he could ever have dreamed back home.
