A powerful sorceress. A dead heir. A vengeful prince. Four years after being imprisoned for the murder of the Ichigan heir, Diana is offered a deal from the man who hates her the most: the brother of the man she murdered. The deal entails aiding the kingdom in their war in exchange for her freedom. While spending time with Liam, however, Diana finds herself beginning to fall for him. These feelings arouse guilt and shame within the young sorceress for falling in love with her dead lover's brother. Prince Liam's kingdom is on the brink of being conquered. Out of any other options, Liam turns to his greatest enemy for assistance with the plan to kill her once the safety of his kingdom is restored. As time goes on, Diana's guilt is called into question causing Liam to launch a secret investigation. As Diana seems more and more innocent, Liam is left with one question in his mind: if Diana did not murder his brother, who did?
