Athena's Love

Athena Demir Torres is done studying abroad in Europe and is now home in the US. again. She get's a job at the daycare of the richest families in the state. Not for long, because one of the parents notices how his son has a special connection to Athena and offers her a new job, with double the salary.

Lucas Emanuele Kolya Alberici, is one of the country's richest CEO's. He is intense, dark and challenging. His model fling got pregnant a few years ago and died shortly after giving birth, because of a drug overdose, which leaves Lucas with a son he doesn't know how to be around.

''I know, i was held back at work'' He replied coldly like he didn't even care that the daycare where supposed to close and that his son has been waiting for him.
''- it's not like you have anything to do anyways, is it?''
My mouth fell open. ''Are you kidding me? It's not about me, it's about your son! He has been waiting for you, and looking forward for you to come and get him. What's wrong with you?'' I shoot back. His intense eyes met mine and dared me to look away, but i didn't.
''If you care so much, why don't you just come work for me then? I will pay you the double of what you get here.''
