Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl who was unable to see her own worth. She found beauty in the simple things, like roses, kind smiles, good music, and a deep conversation. But she was not simple, so she was unable to see anything worth while about herself. This girl was beaten down by the cruelties of this world, but then she meets him, her prince charming. But can even he convince her of her true beauty? Or will she ruin any good that comes into both his and her lives forever? ----- This is a story about a girl named Jane who is forced to be someone she is not. I wrote this story because I feel like we all have to conform to be how society wants us to be, when that's not who we really are, sometime in our lives. But we all have an escape. Sometimes it's through music, reading, friends, or whatever. Jane's escape comes through a boy named Mystery who helps her grow and flourish who she really is. I'm about to tell you a story about a girl. A normal girl. A girl that had no cares in the world, until her trust for it was stripped away. When you read her story, you'll find yourself trusting her, loving her, rooting for her. But you see, not everyone gets to trust the world. Not everyone has a happy ending. --- Halfway through the kiss however, his attitude changed; instead of being a loving embrace, it became a fierce trap. His grip on her waist tightened, trapped her where she was instead of simply holding her where he wanted her. The hand in her hair grabbed a section of it, enforcing his demand for her not to go anywhere. Before she knew what was happening, he left go of her hair, and pushed her to the ground. She gasped, suddenly able to breathe. He stood up and walked over to her. He placed a soft hand on her cheek, just like he used to when he was telling her how special she was to him. None of the emotion was there this time however, all she could feel radiating from his was rage. "You shouldn't have run off, babe," he said bitterly. "I was about to show you how much I loved you. Instead, I now have to show you what happens when you anger me." --- The men regarded her, before she was shoved to the ground and one produced a whip. There, laying broken on the floor, as the other girls watched, she was whipped. Slowly, she felt her skin breaking in time with her heart and her will.Complete
Never is a Mirror
I used to think the worst thing a place could do was keep you. Never taught me different. It lets you choose-and then makes sure the choice chooses you back. By daylight I work the door at Afterglow, a club of glass and iron and music that keeps its own kind of time. By night I count breaths, watch the mirrors, and pretend the soft diamond of salt over my heart is just an old scar. I don't say the word for what I can do under my breath. I don't look too long at the water. I don't answer when the ticking starts. Once, there was an island that ran on names, ledgers, and the right song at the wrong hour. There was a boy who arrived like a reflection and loved me the way a snare loves a sparrow-beautifully, relentlessly. There were rules disguised as jokes, games that tasted like devotion, and a crown that was really a lie if you listened closely enough. Mercy wore resin. Truth tasted like iron. And every wish I whispered came back with teeth. Now the past keeps surfacing-through windows, through music, through the mouths of strangers who don't know what they're asking. I wanted quiet. A pause. Something that didn't bleed me. Instead I got choices, and the kind of love that uses your yes as a lever. If I go back, it won't be because I'm brave. If I stay, it won't be because I'm safe. Either way, the mirror is already looking.

I have recently moved to a big city and I don't like it. It is the exact place where you can feel like an insect. Every building is like a beehive and no creature differs from another. We all think about ourselves as unique which makes no-one special really, but calms the soul. Makes us believe that eventually something great has to come our way. Movies always have a happy ending in the sleeve for the main character. If cities are full of people feeling like protagonists then who deserves to be in a fairytale? I am here because I thought I had it all figured out. Successful boyfriend and a study place at university, but it was all set to collapse.Complete
