While out for an evening stroll, young couple Samantha and Dennis unknowingly cross paths with an ancient evil accidentally awakened during a windstorm. They return home to share wine and cheese by the fire, unaware of the danger which has followed them in the shadows and now lurks within their house; watching, waiting. What started as relaxing evening with their dogs, quickly turns into a battle against their deepest fears, leading them to a violent confrontation with a creature humankind has long forgotten...
