Cassandra Wayland is Jace Wayland's older sister. she is also best friends with Alec Lightwood & Izzy's parabati. they all think feelings make them weak, but really it makes them strong. but that was how they were trained as shadowhunters, if you had feelings then they would cloud your judgement and get you killed. but nobody realized just how much feelings made you act on the battlefield. 

Alec and Cassandra realize that love makes them stronger, and that sometimes its okay to let someone into your heart, family or not. and sometimes it just takes the right person to open up your heart in ways you never thought possible. espically if they are your best friend.
