Alina Thornwell was once a SHIELD agent. And then Fury threw her out. But, even though she may have gotten SHIELD far too many enemies, she was one of the best agents they ever had. And now SHIELD need her back.

A recent invasion of Earth from Asgard means that the most powerful object known to SHIELD, the tesseract, is now in enemy hands: those of Loki, the God of mischief. And now the Avengers Initiative has been brought back into question, grouping together some of the best fighters known to SHIELD: Steve Rogers; the infamous Captain America, who led the states to victory in WW2, Tony Stark; the genius in an iron suit, Bruce Banner; the green monster with more than enough rage, not to mention Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton; two of SHIELD's best agents. And, of course, Alina Thornwell; otherwise known as Raven, the girl with the wings.

The Avengers must save Manhattan, and stop Loki, but, in doing so, Alina may discover some things about herself that she never even dreamed possible, including her own heart, and her true identity.

I took his hands in mine frantically, causing his eyes to meet mine. "Then hand over the Tesseract and come home, Loki. Please." "I can't." He pulled away. "If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. "I still love you." ___________________________________________ (Y/N) Ísveig thought she'd made peace with Loki's death. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him for everything he had done, obviously, but she was finally beginning to live the life she always wanted. She was no longer deemed future queen of Asgard, and she was slowly learning to control her amplified ice powers. That is, until the god of mischief decides to attack New York and steal the Tesseract. Now (Y/N) must again face her inner demons as her powers quickly deem too much for her to handle, and all her feelings for Loki resurface even though she forces herself to see him as the enemy. Only time will tell if her, along with the Avengers, can put a stop to his schemes, or if New York will ultimately be engulfed by a thick layer of snow, ice, and death. ___________________________________________ BOOK 2 in the Loki x (Y/N) Ísveig series. Epin works alongside the Avengers, using her unique talents to complete missions and become a well known 'hero' even though she hates being called that. She loves her job, that is until she is given the role of babysitter to a raven haired Asgardian. To say Loki despised the Avengers was an understatement. So the idea of having some weak looking girl follow him around as his keeper was down right infuriating. As time progresses, maybe the two of them will change their minds.
