My daughter recently had a stay in the hospital. So, here I am trapped in a room. When my daughter isn't on the tablet she's complaining she's bored.
So, I wrote her a story. My own rendition of Beauty and the Beast.

Beauty and the Beast
We all know the story of Beauty and the Beast. This story follows the outline of the traditional story pretty well with some changes to make it seems more real, more intense, and not such a fairytale. There's a Mansion secluded in the thick forest south of town that Isabelle happened to run into one very stormy night. Denied help from the Master, but aided by the servants, she finds her life intertwined with theirs and there's nothing she can do to stop it. The Master is horrible - beastly. He's powerful, and manages to put Isabelle under a spell of his own. A story of two people learning about themselves by falling in love with the other. this is my rendition of beauty and the beast and its far from disney Love does not exist. Not for me anyways. How could anyone show love for a monster like me? I was a bastard of a man who hermits himself inside a large, ominous castle. Almost all of the rooms were empty, showing little sign of what used to be, of the servants and family that used to inhabit it. The only sign that people still lived here was the linen and food that would be outside my bedroom door every morning and my bed being made when I wasn't in the room by the few servants who chose to stay and be loyal to me and my curse.
