It has been five years already but Mer's distant breaking face still hunts Thomas in his sleep. Her broken voice pleading for him to stop while his car was driving away from her and away from what he thought home. It still felt as though they happened yesterday. He loved her too much, he broke her in the end. He didn't just broke her heart but he also broke the reason why she's breathing steady. Every passing memory felt like someone was battering his heart. He knew he could do something about it--oh, right, he's a coward. He left her broken like a doll, splinching her pair of arms and legs and leaving only the poor head attached to the body.
