Join Dark on a life changing adventure from the young age of 4 where he was forced out of his home to go live with humans. He never knew his real mother and didn't think he was adopted. Which had left him with the questions of why he was different. Why did he have to move schools? Why did he have to drink blood to survive? How come his family line didn't have anyone like him? And most importantly. Why was it so hard to control himself over wanting to kill.
24 and moody with hormones Dark moves schools for the second time, due to a horrible incident, disguising himself as someone he isn't in order to live a normal life among humans. Jack and Ethan join Dark in a unit at college. Jack and Ethan have been best friends for years, but will their friendship die because of Dark? Or will it spark closer relationships between them all.

Octaveus was depressed. He knew it, but no one else did. He hid it, just as he hid his scars. He wasn't human either; he hid that too. He hid almost everything about himself from everyone, in order to minimize the ridicule. His mental state, his thoughts, his scars, even his questionable sexuality.
