By Force

"Though there was a smile on my face, I could have cried at any moment, but I forced my feelings away just as my future had been.

"It's okay, Dear. You're doing wonderful." My grandfather whispered next to me. I felt his grip on my arm get a little tighter in reassurance.

We made it to the alter and we separated and now I stood in front of Christian. My smile was long gone and my face was blank and now it mirrored Christian's.

It was weird how fast everything was moving. We're going from strangers to husband and wife within just one week. It's not how it works, but yet that's how it's happening."
