Benjamin Castillo (A.k.a Ben or Benny) never knew how to love. His parents left him at four years old with his aunt, who's known for her gambling addiction, and his uncle, who's a known alcoholic. It doesn't take a genius to know that lifestyle isn't of luxury. Finally after fourteen years, he's been able to move out on his own. With his busy schedule filled with school and multiple part time jobs, he never found time to do much of anything. While first moving into his apartment, he'll never guess who visits. ------------- Tw: Depression, Self harm, Mental Illnesses, mentions of SA and Domestic Abuse. (WILL add a more detailed warning before chapter begins for chapters including one or more of TW above) Names are coincidental and are not based on real people. Also most places are fictional.

Raised by cold parents who never offered him a glimpse of affection, Kai dedicated his life to earning the love he never received at home. Successful in his studies and devoted to his passions, he found a romance that ultimately shattered him, coupled with the harsh realization that he had failed and that his parents would never acknowledge him. A year after his graduation, Kai felt lost and unsure of how to chart his path forward. Clinging to the one person who had never left his side, he resolved to confront the traumas that haunted him. He never anticipated that the person who would help him the most would be someone he had met right at the beginning of his journey. SMALL EXCLAIMER/ The story doesn't visually describe sexual scenes. There are just a few makeout scenes. The first few chapters are describing a person who is slightly depressed and some light anxiety behaviour situations. It is not a heavy book. The characters are not abusive. The relationships are healthy, and I hope my book is as positive and easy to read as I wanted it to be. However, for some people can be triggering as there are mentions of anxiety and social awkwardness.
