The chance of me getting thrown in was extremely slim, but when the king tosses me to the wolves and I'm chosen by the ruthless Sorreli twin brothers I realize slim doesn't mean zero. And that I'm completely fucked. Saint and Syn Sorreli do not intend on taking it easy on me, but I can say the same for myself. If it's hell they give, it's hell they will receive. But they aren't the only ones that I have to hustle behind for the next few years. Serving not one, not two, but THREE Fae heirs should be a breeze, except when their burning gaze and wicked ways gets thrown into the mix and I find my sanity slipping right in front of the very beings I'm supposed to hate.

Anything can happen when a person is full of anger and guilt, shadowed by their own ego...will you invite them to be your friend? Or fight them like a foe? [2023 NOTE] Have you ever grown up? I had my first experience last month and it was truly disappointing and I would argue life changing -- I no longer see the average grown adult with the same respect as I did before writing this fic. And honestly, my impression of the community prior to writing this fic, fairly intelligent, and they really were a cross section of the general public. But as when I started writing this fic, I was truly astonished at my writing and how impressive my brain power is. And I can sense how that experience has seeped into my psyche and is polluting my ability to trust people, and I have become more suspicious of the true motivations of those around me. I literally cannot tell if I was just naive before and am more realistic now, or if I was realistic before and have become cynical now. This does not define my political views, and who I am today. I really am a changed man.😞
