"Dying only hurts for a second- I promise. Couldn't you just die already?"
Don't be fooled by the facade that the Fae people put up. Folke is a young Fae boy, only about twenty, and he's already one of the most feared initiates of his class. He's killed dragons, werewolves, rabid centaurs, and hellhounds, feats usually reserved for more experienced Fae.
Punished for beating up another initiate, Folke is put on Transport duty- helping human souls move to the Otherly's world once their human body has died. Cocky and inattentive, Folke accidentally transports Sherrie Washman, a human, to the Otherly world.
He thinks it's just a simple mistake, easily fixed. But when it's discovered that Sherrie- and countless other humans- have abilities that the humans aren't supposed to have, the Otherly stand on the brink of a monumental war.
She's just a human. How could Folke have gotten himself in so much trouble with a simple accident?
