This is a compilation of my letters to God. Whenever I feel down, I used to write down how I feel and seek God's presence and guidance. In that way, I feel relieved. If you have problems that you cannot handle, always remember that it is not you who should be in control in the first place. Surrender everything to God. Surrender your problems. He's the one who is in control. This is what He tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
God is in full control of everything. He knows exactly the things that are happening to you. And whenever you feel like you are burdened with a lot of problems, just remember this: "Consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." - James 1:2-4

Letters to God (Compact Version)
I feel I should offer a disclaimer; this will not be a book of pretty words and flowing writing. It might even have an odd format with short stories, prayers, poems, journal entries, and autobiographical tendencies. There will be raw, unfiltered emotion because I have always been a very emotionally driven person, prone to oversharing. This isn't a tutorial or a teaching manual, or a guide to Christianity. It is my personal journey in discovering The Way. My ongoing path from religion to having a personal relationship with the Living God. The idea for Letters to God has been with me for years. At first, as a blog post, but that didn't appeal to me as much, for my heart has always leaned toward writing books. Then I tried sharing parts of it as short stories, but that didn't sit well with me either. Subconsciously, I've been working on this for years. He saved you He saved me What about others?
The world was full of trouble. Full of confusion and a catastrophic dilemma. One couldn't imagine at what destructive measure it would disintegrate into. While so many things were done to make the world a better place. At some point, it would later be revealed that the biggest problem was not a lack of educational facilities or a lack of health facilities. Believe it or not, Africa, also wasn't the world's biggest problem. The problem with the world today is sin. Sin brought about problems that would perpetuate into many more generations to come! It's almost unbelievable that someone would leave greener pastures to settle in a beat-down environment like Earth. One would wonder what this being could ever want. If life existed beyond the surfaces of our universe, why stay? If there was the possibility of walking with a glory that outshined the brightness of the sun, why hesitate? God cannot love us anymore than He loves our neighbor. His love tank is so vast that it accommodates everyone. Had He only sent Jesus Christ to the rich or the poor in African households, His love would then be conditioned to those that qualified. What makes His love so unique and strange is that He loves the broken and the sinners. He loves those of us that are unlikeable and unattractive. He persuaded His only son to die gruesomely to have all of mankind at His bosom. In the movies, opening doors and buying a bouquet of flowers is symbolic of love. In families, love is expressed in many different kind of forms. Even animals have ways in which they show affection. While all of that might stand out. It cannot be compared to the love of God. God can feel love, and He is love!Complete

Aspen Carlee Ellington. "Beau's Girl" That's how I've been known since the 10th grade. Every time I looked into the future...whether it was an hour, a day or years ahead of me...that's all I saw. Me and him. Just like I'd always seen. I had no doubt it would be us. Every day I find a way to torture myself to the brink of mental or physical death for shattering her. Fast forward two years, I'm standing in her backyard with her older brothers not knowing if she'll even acknowledge my existence. But fuck me...she's even more gorgeous than I remembered and I swear before Christmas is over, I'll have made her broken heart whole and she'll be mine. Aspen is a 21 year old dessert maker. *completed* Not exactly sure why I write these. Partially to remind me in hard times, and partially so I can see what I've learned and how far I've come. Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... Something blossoming
(UNEDITED) Him: And she had me then, tangled in her integrate web, I wanted to find out more about her, everything about her. Thaw the iced glaze over her eyes, melt to cold walls around her with my touch, my attention. Her: I could see the sunshine though the water like an oil painting. Breathtaking. I reached my arm up, as if to touch it, only to meet more water. I frowned. Staying there till my lungs burned, how easy would it be. To just stay here, at the bottom of this creek. Staring at the oil painted sun until my body finally gave up trying to find air. I would just drift away with the water. No one here. No one was around. How peaceful. How To Live, Forever Part 2
Once you read this book and the bible, just study it everyday and make it a piece of your soul and your everyday life. God says, to become great in his eyes and in the Kingdom of Heaven, you have to do and teach the Gospel. God's Second Greatest Commandment is love thy neighbor as thyself. So just say if you didn't know about God wouldn't you want your neighbor to tell you about God so that you could be saved? That's what God means by his Commandment. Show everybody that God is here and alive and will never fade away. Never be afraid to show people about God (Luke 9:26 "For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."). Also, don't be afraid that they may harm pyou about telling people about God (Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."). I would like for everyone to read this that is in this world, so we can all come together through Christ. So that we can live with God forever! He Walks With Me
This is a place where I will pour out my prayers, dreams, and the moments when I feel God's presence the most. Life is a journey filled with joy, struggles, and lessons, but through it all, I believe He walks with me-guiding, strengthening, and shaping me. Through this story, I want to capture the times when His love felt near, the whispers of His guidance, and the quiet reassurances that I am never alone. One day, when I look back, I hope to see how He has led me, step by step, through every season of my life. May this be a testimony of His unfailing love, a reminder that no matter where I go, He walks with me.
