Kira Hitogoroshi, one of the best young assassins that the world has never seen, but has always heard of. Code name: Scarlet.

When you wanted someone dead, Scarlet was the one to call. She always got the job done, whether it be an infiltration job or just your average assassination request. So, who else would they send when a creature of unkown origin threatens to destroy the earth?

Kira had one job, go undercover as one of the creature's students, gain his trust, end his life and collect the reward...Simple as that.

Only, Kira had quickly realized that this wasn't like any of her previous jobs and that it wasn't going to be easy. Her cover was going to last longer than expected.

So, what happens when she grows close to the people society had tossed aside? When her past comes back to haunt her in more ways than one? And when she developes feelings she couldn't understand for a certain boy...?
