Jade Silverstone is a normal 17 year old girl, besides the fact that she is rude to almost everyone. Jade and her parents move to an island just outside of Cancun called, Ember Island. While she is gathering her stuff a mysterious boy comes up to her and attempts to talk to her but since she has a habit of being rude, she blows him off and goes on her way. That is until she realizes that he lives on Ember Island too, she begins to feel something odd towards the boy..something draws her to him, but at the same time something about him drives her crazy!
