First day of High School, this shouldn't be too bad. Right?
Mat is a young boy who longs for attention, he's someone who doesn't get noticed a lot. The new kid in school, had a rough childhood, and has struggled to survive since day one. The day is almost over, he's just walking through the halls until he runs into someone. Little does he know, this guy would change his whole life.
This is something new I've wanted to try and its a new story with original characters. Mat is the typical shy kid who has doesn't seem to have any special qualities. One day, he is met with a man named Jacob. This is a story about love between two friends and is going to have some dark topics since well, this is going to have a little bit of me in this. I wanted to write a story that has some elements of my personal life and what I have been through. Granted its not going to be obvious but, yeah. I hope people enjoy

Some girl shouts, "Oh! THE BOY IS THE NEXT ONE TO GET MARRIED" I blush intensely but Jace didn't seem bothered by it.
After awhile the speeches started and I dragged Jace out of the reception hall and into a vacant upstairs room. In the room there was an ugly orange couch against off white walls, a computer on a desk with a rolling desk chair. There was a hideous marble carpet. He and I take a seat on the couch without turning the lights on. We sit inaudibly in the dark, with just the moonlight lighting our faces.
"Jace, I wanna ask you something."
"What is it?" He asks, clueless.
"Okay I know that I haven't always been the nicest, and I haven't exactly been there for you but, will you maybe go out with me?"
