**Incandescent sunlight shone down on the clearing, turning the tips of the trees emerald whilst the rest of their slender bodies remained cloaked in shadow.
The sky was an azure blue; like a diamond, clear and glinting.
A soft breeze russled the crisp green leaves and blew faint ripples onto the glassy surface of the water.
Birds were tweeting and bees were humming.
And amidst this serenity lay a corpse, washed up at the side of the lake. Yellow tape encircling it, yet it was never known who committed the crime. Ambulances patiently waiting as they attempted to contact family, friends, anyone.
A little boy joined the scene then. He wanted to know what was going on.
Curiously, he peered around the ambulance and saw a girl lying on the floor.
He wanted to help her but how could he?
An arm motioned him away from the body, but he shied away from it.
Knowing what he had to do, he ran from the gloomy scene.
He needed to tell someone.
He had to.**
Staying away for the holidays, Alice realises all is not what it seems. To living with close family friends whom she can't recall, and the gorgeous boy who seems to be stalking her, maybe this break wasn't such a good idea.

The Gentleman Killer
INTRODUCTION: Missing person reports were just piling up one after another these days. But none of the victims were found alive. After the killer got what he wanted from victim's family, the next day person would be found dead. People are starting to move out from the city. It's gotten worse as hours passed. Phones are ringing at the police stations and 911 calls are getting more and more desperate. Not many things were found out about this town's killer. But, the way people are describing him- yes him- shows that they all see him as an old man called the Gentleman. He got this name from the way he puts his deceased victims bodies. Lying on their back, carefully placed, hair brushed and clean, face without any makeup, but covered with black veil, white nightie with small bouquet in their arms that are placed on their chest. Beautifully horrific sight if you ask me. They all appeared to be women in their early or mid 20s, brunettes with blue eyes, skinny and average height. The Gentleman is described as someone in his late 30s or early 40s, is into art, but mostly sculptures as he shows by placing his victims in recognizable positions. On most of dead women's necks could be seen small tattoos that were assotiated with life and death- butterfly with its wings painted like skull. That was all that we knew of the Gentleman until something happened few days ago...Complete

The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." I looked over to my right, bending my neck. He opened his soft eyes and gazed at me with a smile. Parts of his eyes crinkled, signalling that he had indeed smiled. His face freckled with stars of coal against his milky white skin. His eyes of pure abyss. Colors that I couldn't think of the name, but always knew what they were and weren't. He was beautiful. He made a noise, quite similar to a squeak from a mouse. "Why do you keep looking at me like that?" He mumbled into my pillow, his voice muffled. I only smiled. He turned a shade of pink and buried his face in my pillow. I tugged the blanket over our shoulders and onto our heads. I inhaled his smell, like a morning rain, and fresh fruit. Flowers but also a sour like smell like lemons or candy. He smelled so good. I pulled him into me and smelled his hair. How could I ever deserve someone like this? How... How did I get here?
