"Sold!" the auctioneer bellowed, the screen with her picture and some basic information went blank. A new picture and new information popped up seconds later. I smiled, she was mine now. 
Avery is your average seventeen year old.  The only unaverage thing about her is she has just been sold to a Vampire! What could possibly go wrong?
